Sound Forest  소리의 숲   2020

만화경 이미지와 목소리 나래이션으로 낯선 감각의 공간을 만들어내는 사운드 영상 설치 작업이다. 여러 개의 작은 스피커들이 공간에 매달려 있고, 그 스피커 하나하나에는 목소리와 텍스트가 있다. 끊임없이 흐르고 점멸하는 만화경 이미지에 홀리며, 목소리의 중얼거림 사이를 걷다 보면, 분자적인 이미지와 소리가 합쳐지고 연결되면서, 감각은 뇌의 회로를 타고 흐르고, 우리의 정신에도 운동을 부여하며 감각적 사유에 빠져들게 만든다. 그렇게 걷다 보면, 어느새 확장된 감각의 공간, 환시의 소리의 숲을 거닐게 된다.

It is a sound and video installation that create a space of unfamiliar senses through the video of a kaleidoscope and voice narration. Several small speakers hang in space, each with a voice and text. Walking between the murmurs of the voice, enchanted by the flowing and blinking kaleidoscope image, as molecular images and sounds merge and connect, the senses flow through the circuits of the brain, give motion to your minds to be lost in thought. As you walk like that, you walk through a sound forest of hallucinations, a space of extended senses.
